Overall, Tanzu Greenplum 6.19 is a major release that includes a number of new features and enhancements that make it a more powerful and scalable database solution.
The following features are deprecated in Greenplum 6.19:
The unsafe TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols for gpfdist.
The gpadmin utility.
The gp_config file.
These features have been deprecated because they are no longer considered to be secure or supported. The unsafe TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols are vulnerable to a number of security attacks, and the gpadmin utility is no longer needed as the Greenplum Command Center provides a more comprehensive management interface. The gp_config file is no longer needed as the configuration settings for Greenplum are now stored in the Greenplum database.
If you are using these features, you should migrate to the newer, more secure features as soon as possible.
